This Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Necklace features a faceted oval natural blue sapphire and diamond halo in 14k yellow gold. The sapphire has beautiful blue color. Forming a halo around the sapphire are ten full cut round diamonds weighing ~ .05 carats each (1/2 carats total), I color and I2 clarity. The pendant is marked 14k. It is also marked BH, a mark used by jewelry designer and manufacturer Effy Hematian who started his business in 1979. The thin box chain is marked Italy 14kt. Sapphire is the birthstone for September. This lovely pendant is in a classic and timeless design. It's the necklace you will reach for over and over. It is in great vintage condition and would make a lovely gift or treat for yourself!

GEMSTONE - Oval Cut Natural Blue Sapphire (~ 4.6 x 6.8 x 2.5 mm or .55 carats by calculation), ten brilliant cut round natural diamonds weighing ~ .05 carats each (1/2 carats total) ~I color and I2 clarity
MEASUREMENTS - Pendant: ~10 mm x 16 mm, Chain: 16"
WEIGHT - 1.47 DWT / 2.29 grams
MARKINGS/HALLMARK - Pendant: BH, a mark used by jewelry designer and manufacturer Effy Hematian and 14k, Chain: Italy 14kt

We'll let you know if it's possible to make the ring the size requested, the sizing fee, time estimate for sizing (typically about two weeks) and if you want to proceed, we will adjust the listing for you to include the sizing prior to purchase.
The sizing fee will vary based upon the material, thickness of the band and size needed. When we increase the size of a ring we add material.
